Making the data you already hold sellable

Answer a buyer's brief with a defined audience, an eligible count and a route to delivery. LeadScale's Engine can count records against a live specification and apply the preparation needed for the programme.

The LeadScale Engine™ counts eligible audience records against a live specification and can apply agreed validation, duplicate controls and enrichment. For a publisher, this connects held inventory with a buyer's requirement: which records fit, what preparation is needed and how they will be delivered. Review the intended use alongside the available capture evidence.

Agree what the eligible count means

A buyer may require contacts in a particular territory, a usable email address and a rule on repeated responses. Each condition affects which records can be supplied. Confirm the evidence needed to meet those conditions before treating the count as available inventory.

  1. Set the specification. Identify the fields, audience conditions and repeat requirements.
  2. Inspect the available information. Establish what the held records contain and where required fields are missing.
  3. Count and prepare against the brief. The Engine supports live specification counts, with contact checks, deduplication and enrichment agreed for the work.
  4. Define delivery. Confirm the receiving system, fields and route. Where supply is against an order, delivery is reconciled against it.

Move from database size to a supply discussion

Suppose the buyer adds a territory restriction after an initial count. Review the eligible set against the new specification. If territory information is missing, establish whether agreed enrichment can supply it before counting those records as confirmed matches.

That makes the conversation useful on both sides. The buyer can assess the relevant audience; the publisher can identify the preparation required to supply it. Keep the specification attached to the count, so everyone understands what the number represents.

For help with the commercial work, publisher representation and data monetisation explains the managed service.

First-party inventory within LeadScale

LeadScale Labs originates and monetises its own first-party data using the Engine as its processing layer.

Agree the use and the hand-over

Review the source and consent evidence against the buyer's intended use. Specify the records, fields and receiving system for delivery. Include any shared-environment or access requirements in the technical discussion.

Questions about held audience data

What if the brief changes?

Review the count and preparation against the revised specification. A number only describes the set that meets the conditions used to produce it.

Can missing information be added?

Enrichment can be included where the sources and agreed work support it. Keep unavailable information visible as a gap until the required field can be established.

How should repeats affect the count?

Define the rule for this request. A duplicate copy and a legitimate further response may need different handling, depending on what the buyer wants supplied.

Which buyer requirement are you trying to meet?

Bring the brief and a description of your held records. We'll work through eligibility, preparation and the route to delivery.
